Administration Assistant

Age Concern is committed to promoting wellbeing, rights, respect and dignity for older people. We believe that older people should live a valued life in an inclusive society.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with daily office activities and operations in either our Avondale or Milford office. The role involves answering calls and community enquiries, data entry to update records and general office tasks, all to support the work that Age Concern does throughout Auckland.

Requirements:

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office is required. Must have excellent communication skills and have a passion for helping the elderly in their community. Previous administration experience would be a bonus.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We expect the role to take 5-10 hours per week, days are flexible. This is an ongoing role and not suitable for job seekers. We would welcome those who would like to volunteer to keep active.
