Connecting People with Parks - Lynfield Reserve

This project is part of our Connecting People With Parks programme, in partnership with Auckland Council, which runs every Tuesday and sometimes over the weekend. On this programme volunteers come to our offices ready typically for an 8am departure and we then take you out in our van to the project and return you no later than 4pm. Times vary on weekend projects (You can also meet on site if that suits you better). For all our projects you are assisted by a qualified team leader who guides you through the tasks and can help you to identify and learn about native species of fauna and flora and conservation.

Love of the outdoors and an interest in conservation. No experience required and there will be training onsite. On project you need to wear sturdy boots/shoes or gumboots, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, bring with you a sun hat, waterproof jacket. We encourage that you bring sunscreen, insect repellent, drinking water and lunch. (There is extra water, repellent and sun block also in the van).

Time commitment:

This will be a single day event. Transport will leave our Auckland office at 8:00am and return before 4:00pm. You can also choose to meet on site.
