Partnerships Manager

Mothers Helpers is a nationwide charity 10 years old that works to prevent and treat perinatal depression/anxiety (PNDA) in women through screening, assessments, education and group/individual therapy. There are significant delays in the identification of PNDA and gaps in finding free or affordable therapy treatment to become well affecting as many as 8,000 women per year in NZ.

The focus of this role is finding companies whose values align with ours, and building relationships with a view to securing regular (probably yearly) donations from them.

Requirements:

Key tasks:

Identify leads, nurture relationships, secure new business/regular corporate donations, leverage relationships/partnerships to maximise exposure for Mothers Helpers, regularly report to the General Manager and periodically to the Board.

Skills/experience: have previous experience in a similar role, have excellent communications skills, strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically and to get agreements across the line, be highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and have the desire and passion to succeed.

Time commitment:

3hrs minimum per week
