Fertility Support Series Coordinator, Auckland

Fertility NZ run three Auckland Fertility Support Series per year. The Fertility Support Series is a semi-structured ‘course’ which runs over three consecutive weeks (one night a week for three consecutive weeks). Each Series is facilitated by two volunteers; and most often the participants from each series maintain contact and friendship for years, as they support each other through their fertility journeys and beyond. These ‘series’, are our most tried-and-tested support offering, and they have helped thousands of Aucklanders since the early 1980s! We are seeking an amazing administrator to join our volunteer team and manage the running of the Fertility Support Series. We anticipate the time commitment of the role to be 8-12 hours in the lead up to each series. In 2020 there are three Series planned (March/June/October) and there are likely to be four Series in 2021. Support will be required leading up to the Series starting and after the course has finished (you are not required to attend the Series).

Follow the six-week checklist of preparation for each series, including:
Respond to email enquiries for the series
Assist with promoting the support series (email only)
Track registrations, keeping the Support Coordinator informed so she can promote the Series as appropriate
Call attendees with key questions prior to the course commencing
Communicate with the Fertility Support Series facilitators and ensure they have the list of attendees prior to course commencing and are fully informed of the participants’ circumstances
After the Series, input feedback evaluation forms into a spreadsheet and email Auckland Committee with an overview of the series and lessons learnt
Attend bi-monthly committee meetings (either virtual or in-person, optional)
Close working relationship with Committee Leader, Auckland and Support Coordinator
