Conservation Volunteering at Auckland's Southern Parks

Each of the Southern Parks of Auckland are varied and unique and at CVNZ we’d like to put our effort to maintain and continue the restoration of these stunning locations. Every week Conservation Volunteers will visit one of Auckland's Southern Parks where we will be carrying out a range of vital conservation activities. Those parks are located on the shores of the Hauraki Gulf and enjoy views out to Coromandel Peninsula. Activities we are likely to be helping out with here are trees releasing, weed control, tidying amenity gardens and mulching. Come and enjoy the amazing views and at the same time help to protect our parks and our nature!

No experience required and there will be training onsite.

On project you need to bring: - sturdy boots/shoes or gumboots, - long pants and long-sleeved shirt, - a sun hat and a waterproof jacket - water bottle, lunch and snacks
