Distribution Centre Helpers

You will be contributing to the services this organisation provides which is emergency food parcels, furniture & clothing for families in need, food distribution to over 50+ food banks from Thames to Kaitaia!

Volunteers activities include;
Packing food parcels for families in need.
Restacking and labeling food cans/tins.
Sorting and organising food/ goods / bric-a-brac.
Sorting clothing.
Washing walls and windows.
Cleaning, sweeping and mopping.

Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for a warehouse environment.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

AM Shift: 9.00am -12 noon
PM Shift: 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Suitable for regular individual volunteering or one-off corporate/community group volunteering.
