Currently the main source of income for Comfort International New Zealand is through fundraising events.
We would like to explore other options of income generation that will provide a more regular and reliable source of income so we are better able to financially support our projects in Rwanda, DRC, Burundi and other developing countries.
We are looking for somebody to take the lead with expanding and coordinating all of our fundraising efforts. This will include working with our events coordinator but will encompass a variety of sources of income.
You will work closely with the Chair of the charity, the secretary and the events coordinator and will be supported by all other charity officers and volunteers.
Proven experience in fundraising.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
High level of personal accountability and good organisational skills.
You would need to have a good knowledge and understanding of the aims of the charity and would need to be committed to the cause.
A confident public speaker would be ideal but this is not essential.
