Driver & Assistant
Do you have spare time during the week or weekend? Would you like to learn new skills and meet new people. Be part of a fun, friendly and supportive team and serve customers when out on a delivery or pick up. You will play an active part in helping your community to collect donated furniture, and delivery goods once they have been purchased in our shop.
Drivers will be paired with an Op shop manager or driver during deliveries. The vehicle is provided by St Stephen's Church and the driver will be insured by the church while volunteering for this role.
You need to be friendly and cheerful as you will be out on the road helping the drivers or the customers. This role requires a valid NZ driver license and clean driving record. Be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. We need your strong muscle to lift heavy (50kg) furniture from couches to heavy duty cabinets and many more. We'd love to meet you!
Monday to Friday : 9:00 to 3:00pm and Saturday : 9:00 to 2:00pm
