Children's Art Gallery Coordinator

Our children's art gallery is a space within the Devonport Community House where young people have the opportunity to display their art, usually Primary and Intermediate aged children.
As the coordinator, you will work with the Manager to:

  • Choose a different theme each month for artwork
  • Manage the collection and rotation of artwork
  • Assist with the promotion of the gallery to the public

The ideal candidate will have a desire to help young people achieve their artistic ambition to display their art. Good communication skills and time management. And a clean police vetting report.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We expect the role to take about an hour per week to keep in contact with local schools and youth organisations, as well as a few hours a month to rotate the artwork on the walls.
