All Heart NZ allows corporates to re-direct, re-purpose and reduce their waste while supporting communities throughout Aotearoa and globally. We support partner organisations to reduce poverty, increase access to education and provide wellbeing services. Since launching 3 years ago 1819 tonnes of unwanted corporate items have been diverted from landfill and to community need. We run a community enterprise store in Albany on the North Shore which enables us to re-purpose and re-sell office furniture, stationery, equipment and tech so we can be sustainable as a charity. We would love someone to help in this Albany warehouse and store, to dismantle old computers, unscrewing parts and sorting these for recycling. If you are a practical person who likes to keep busy and have a few hours to spare on a day to suit, we would love to have you join our friendly team.
Closed shoes and warm clothing are required (no jandals) as there will be work in the warehouse. We will provide training, tools needed and refreshments.
This is a flexible role but would be during working hours and at times to suit. This is an ongoing commitment, depending on your availability. A few hours or a full day can be accommodated on weekdays only.
