Funfest 2020 Free Family Event

ARE YOU READY TO VOLUNTEER FOR NEW ZEALAND’S BIGGEST FREE FAMILY SUMMER EVENT ?

Funfest is now in it’s 19th year.
Our event has grown to an audience of over 30,000 people annually from all over the country and all ages. There is simply no other event that compares with Trillian Trust Funfest in terms of attractions, scale and social responsibility. We've successfully created a fun safe place for thousands of families to enjoy every year and we need YOU ! to help us deliver our amazing Funfest experience to fans.

Our event now includes an invitational day for children with special needs and their families.

If you are 16 years and over love to serve your community, support a great charity and generally want to make other people happy then please read on and hopefully at the end you're a great fit for our event and our people. We have the following roles available during this event.

Funfest Rides
We need volunteers to help our fans in and out of the rides. Your job is to ensure fans have a great and safe experience on the rides outside. You’ll need to love being outdoors in the sun, you’ll need a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and loads of smiles. You’ll be working alongside the ride operators from Mahons amusements.

Funfest Games
We need volunteers to help run the fundraising games. You’ll be helping stock the prizes, and generally making sure fans have a great time. You’ll be working as part of the Funfest games team and dealing direct with the public.

Volunteer Food
We need volunteers to help prepare, serve and manage the volunteer food zone. You’ll be working with others to look after the volunteer provided food and make sure its available each day.

Funfest Face Painters
We need volunteers to help with our face painting. If you have great painting skills you will love putting smiles on our Funfesters with your great works of art. You'll be working as part of the Funfest face painting team and dealing direct with the public.

Funfest stage crew
We need volunteers to help give out prizes, transport stuff across site. You will be working along side our Funfest stage crew ensuring our Funfesters have the best time.

Requirements:

We are looking for people who enjoy and are confident interacting with public. Depending on the role you chose you may need sunscreen, a hat and and sunglasses.

Time commitment:

You don't have to commit to every day but you must commit to a day or multiple days. The event runs over the following days: Trillian Trust VIP Day 2020 - Wednesday, January 15th 2020 10am-4pm and Trillian Trust Funfest 2020 - Thursday 16th, Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, and Sunday 19th 9am-5pm.
