Albany Singing Group Assistant
Our Albany Singing Group is looking for a volunteer to help out once a week on an ongoing basis, on Fridays from 10.30am to 12pm. Volunteers arrive a little earlier to help with setting up and stay after the group to pack up. Volunteers also help setting up for the tea/coffee break.
The group is fun filled with music and songs. The role will require the volunteer to enjoy music and singing, and when necessary support clients. We would love your help!
Dementia Auckland supports people with dementia and their family/whanau through a range of services across the greater Auckland region. We believe that with the most up to date support programmes, improved environments, and connections to community, people affected by dementia can continue to live an enriching and enjoyable life.
Good level of English, excellent people skills, able to show compassion, empathy and kindness. Able to commit for the day of the week and the stipulated time.
3 hours approximately per week - Friday mornings 10.30am to 12pm - plus setting up and packing up
