Minute Taker

A Minute Taker is needed for 4 - 5 hours per month, to support the work of the Board of Trustee of our organisation. Tasks include taking notes that accurately reflect the decisions and discussion that take place during our monthly board meetings. Typing up notes in an agreed format so that information and communications are clear, and distributing the minutes to all relevant parties as soon as possible after meetings. These meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 10:30am - 1pm in New Lynn.

Requirements:

The applicant will be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and have access to a PC. Must have excellent transcription, writing and word processing skills and have the ability to take detailed minutes. Strong attention to detail required, as are organisational skills, with experience in administration, minute taking and the ability to produce minutes in a timely manner. I high level of English language communication skills are needed for this role, both verbal and written.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We expect the role to take between 4 - 5 hours of your time per month. The board meeting is held on the 3rd Monday of each month in New Lynn. A three month commitment is expected.
