Conservation Volunteering at Oakley Creek - Tuesday 3 September
For all our projects you are assisted by a qualified team leader who guides you through the tasks and can help you identify and learn about native species of flora and fauna and conservation. Tasks range according to the season and the specific needs of the park. Tuesday 3 September at Oakley Creek will be focused on weed control and plant releasing. We will be managing the invasive weed species which are over taking the native trees and plants. By helping to bring biodiversity back to the bush, we will be making it a more suitable habitat for urban dwelling native birds.
