Support for Duty Managers
Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families who need to travel to Auckland for their children to receive treatment at our National Children's Hospital. Our Duty Support Volunteers provide support to our Duty Manager (and occasionally our Housekeeping team) with a variety of tasks. No shift is the same! You may need to greet people as they come and go, fetch toilet paper for a family, set up a port-a-cot, sort items that were donated or sanitise some toys. These are just some of the things our Duty Support Volunteers do during their 3 hour shift at our Grafton Mews House.
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help and support our families with practical help and be an extra pair of hands for our duty managers.
Weekly or fortnightly 5pm - 8pm shifts available through the week, Sunday to Thursday subject to availability. We are looking for people who are able to commit to volunteering with us for at least 6 months.
The first step is to express your interest by applying directly to the organisation. You will then be able to find out more about the role and how to proceed.
