Chapel Administration & Chaplain Support

The role involves providing support in a variety of administrative tasks to support the Chaplain’s diary and wider chaplaincy calendars. Including Administration, Establishing and maintaining office processes and procedures, Maintain filing systems, Ensuring the chapel office is in a presentable and tidy state, Maintain a Chapel and Chaplain diary, Preparation of service materials, Assist with the production of letters, reports, presentations, chapel / chaplain news sheets, and supportive tasks such as copying, mailing, securing office supplies, etc.

The volunteer will be supported through regular meetings and will have initial orientation and guidance to introduce the organisation and role. Training in operation of specific software will be given.


Some understanding of Microsoft Office Suite is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint), also LeeCare, Med Tech, and TechOne (Training provided). The successful applicant will have a pleasant personality and be able to deal with time sensitive matters while streamlining office operations and providing support for the village chaplain. We are a faith based organisation and familiarity with Anglican worship is desirable.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We expect the role to take one or two days per week, either full days or half days. Preferred days are Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
