Media Coordinator

Your role will be to coordinate relationships with media with the aim of securing good coverage of Mindful Money and the issues of responsible investment. Key tasks include developing and maintaining a media contacts list, develop approaches to target the most appropriate media outlets with news, human interest stories, events, photos and videos, monitoring media coverage related to Mindful Money and our issues and building good relationships with key media and develop stories for their audiences.

Requirements:

The role will suit someone who has excellent communication skills, is well organised, thorough, and able to show initiative, must have strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to use spreadsheets (Excel). You will need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in order to capture news cycles, and have experience of media work. Experience with photography, videography and graphics is desirable.

Time commitment:

Hours and days are flexible and the work can be done from home. We are looking for an ongoing commitment and expect the role to take approximately 15 hours of your time per week.
