Packing Bags of Goodness - 2021

We receive deliveries of fresh produce, direct from growers each week, that needs to be packed in more manageable sized bags. We are looking for volunteers to help pack the bulk produce into bags of up to 15kgs. We deliver the bags of produce to recipient agencies and ultimately to families who are struggling to put food on the table.

A full health and safety briefing is given and full instruction of what is required by the volunteer before commencing work. The Volunteer Coordinator will be onsite while the packing is underway. Work gloves and high-viz vests are provided.

This is a physical activity that requires the ability to lift and move boxes of up to 15kgs.
It's held in a Warehouse so closed-in shoes are a must.
It's quite chilly in the Warehouse this time of year, so please bring a light jacket that you can work in if need be.
