Playgroup Coordinator

The Playgroup Coordinator will be responsible for opening up the hall, setting up the toys and welcoming parents and packing up at the end with the help of the parents that attend. The aim is to provide a safe and welcoming place for parents to come and make connections in their community and to provide children 0-5 with educational experiences through play. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves meeting people and working with children to contribute in their community.
Support will be provided by our Community Support Coordinator through regular visits and they will be available via phone to help with any issues that may arise. Training and orientation will be on site prior to starting the role. Time to be arranged with Community support coordinator.

Requirements:

Need to have great people skills, be physically able to set out and pack up toys. Experience with children preferred.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Monday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The playgroup runs during term time only.
