Support for School Uniform Shop

We are looking for volunteers to provide hands on support duties which involves sales and purchases of uniforms and stationery requirement in the school onsite uniform shop. This includes stock management (including monthly stocktakes), ordering supplies, payments/receipting and banking reconciliation including all school paid activities.

Requirements:

The Support Assistant role requires some specialist skills such as cash handling, sales, marketing, stock control, banking and office work experience although not a strict requirement but will be considered highly. You will have excellent communication and time management skills. Be open and willing to learn and have a helpful attitude. Punctuality is a must including being culturally sensitive as our school community is diverse. Good computer skills knowledge of MS Office. On the job training is available.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This role is term time from Monday to Friday 8:30am-12:30pm (up to 4 hours per day). The uniform shop opens before school and during break time. Ideally we would prefer availability for both open times in the day and at least 2 mornings per week.
