Communications Manager for Developing Corporate Sponsorships

Mothers Helpers have partnered with Charity TV and we have 12 Ambassadors who are raising money for the organisation over the next 12 months. In September 2019 they will go away on an all-expenses paid trip, embarking on amazing adventures and being filmed by an award-winning TV crew. This will be screened on TV2. As part of this project, Mothers Helpers needs to find corporate sponsorship and we are looking for someone who would be confident in approaching corporate companies for this sponsorship.

The money raised will allow us to hire another social worker so that we can help more women experiencing perinatal depression/anxiety to recover from their illness as quickly as possible, reducing the impact it has on her and her family.

You will be well supported in this role with phone scripts, email and letter templates and a small database of companies we have had relationships with before. We would also like the volunteer to come away with the rest of the team during September 2019.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a communications background who is confident, and has some experience in approaching corporate companies for sponsorship and developing relationships. Must have good administration and communication skills. Be able to make an ongoing commitment to the role for 2-4 hours per week during business hours, and be available to come away for a week with us on an all-expenses-paid trip in September 2019.

If you have the required skills and would like to apply for this role then please forward your CV with cover letter once you receive the contact details.

Time commitment:

We expect the role to take a minimum of 2 hours per week, but more realistically for its success, an estimate of around 4 hours per week. The commitment period is for 12 months so only those who can commit to this timeframe should apply. Apart from regular meeting the work can be done from home.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
