Funding Applications Coordinator
We are looking for a volunteer with experience within the Not for Profit (NfP) sector to set up our fundraising portfolio and help us with our fundraising applications. The purpose for the role is to be able to effectively prepare convincing applications to philanthropists, local government bodies and agencies in order to raise funds for our organisation.
The role involves writing fundraising proposals and sourcing grant funding options to suit needs and tracking inputs and outputs of grants.
Experience in writing and managing funding applications within the NfP sector is essential. The volunteer will also be highly organised, motivated and be able to complete tasks within a given timeframe.
Efficiency with time and the ability to communicate well within the organisations as well as with external parties is required.
Work can be performed either at our office in West Auckland or from the volunteer’s home.
6 months commitment is expected. Timing is flexible but work may have to be performed during working hours on certain occasions. 2-5 hours per week is required.
